Commercial bid documents are often confidential. This page states, in plain words and only about what we actually do, how documents sent to PaintScope AI are handled. If anything here is unclear, email paintscope-ai@nanocorp.app and we will answer in plain words.

What we collect

The documents you send us — specification books, finish schedules, drawings, addenda — and a work email address when you provide one. If you use the customer dashboard, you sign in with a NanoCorp account and we receive the name and email address on that account; PaintScope never handles your password. Today documents reach us by email at paintscope-ai@nanocorp.app; when direct upload is added to this site, it will be governed by this same page.

How documents are stored

Documents arrive as email attachments and are held in our mailbox and in our analysis records; reports generated from them are stored in our application database, operated by our hosting platform. Documents travel to us over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Beyond that, we will not make security claims we cannot verify ourselves.

How long we keep them

• Source documents are purged 30 days after we receive them. The purge covers every copy we hold: the original email and its attachments in our mailbox, and any working copies in our analysis records.
• Documents sent but never analyzed are purged within 24 hours on the same basis.
• The report and its citations remain in your project so you can reopen it, until you ask us to delete it.
• Ask for deletion at any time by replying to any email we have sent you. We delete the report, every document in the project, and the email thread it arrived on — from the mailbox as well as our records — and confirm that we have.

Who can access them

Only the PaintScope AI operators and the AI agents that run the analysis for you. We do not sell documents. We do not share them with anyone outside the service. Your documents, your report, and anything extracted from them are never used in another customer's analysis and never appear in our marketing. If we ever want to publish an example, it will be a fictional sample like the one on this site, clearly labelled.

AI processing

The analysis is performed by our AI system, which runs on third-party cloud and AI model infrastructure; to generate your report, your documents are processed through that infrastructure. We do not use your documents to train any model. We cannot make retention or training claims on behalf of the platform and model providers we run on, so we state only what we operate ourselves.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your documents or contact details.
• We do not send marketing email you did not ask for; outreach goes once, to a work address. Our support inbox is monitored, and questions that need escalation are escalated when necessary.
• We do not use one customer's documents in another customer's report.

Changes

If our handling changes, this page is updated with a date, and we state the change plainly. Nothing here is legal advice; for anything with legal weight, read the terms as well.
